PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: 60 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with ATLS, ACLS, PALS
- Licenses: Active OH license, Active DEA
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
- Experience: At least 1 year of ED experience within the last year; case logs for past 2 years showing EM procedures
- Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history, ability to respond to inpatient codes
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide emergency care to patients in a rural hospital with limited specialty backup
- Manage admissions, observations, and transfers of ED patients
- Respond to inpatient codes as needed
- Collaborate with available specialties (surgery, cardiology) for patient care
- Document patient encounters and procedures in Meditech Expanse EMR
