We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 40-day assignment in Connecticut. This role primarily involves weekend coverage from Friday evening to Sunday evening. Duties include pre-operative physical exams, suture removal, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, assisting in surgery, writing prescriptions, coordinating care, rounding, and performing procedures such as the placement of central venous and dialysis catheters, arterial lines, and endoscopic retrieval.
