Position Overview
HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist for a one-week locum tenens opportunity in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
The assignment includes scheduled clinical services, hospital consultations, inpatient rounding, cardiac diagnostic procedures, and 24-hour call.
The physician will work with an established Cardiology team and advanced practice provider support.
Assignment Highlights
$400/hour for scheduled clinical services
$3,550 per 24-hour call shift
$500/hour additional qualifying callback compensation, subject to assignment terms
January 18–25, 2027
Seven consecutive 24-hour call periods
Approximately 17–18 patients per day
Adult Cardiology
Hospital and outpatient practice
Nuclear reads, stress testing, TEE, and cardioversions
Echocardiography and cardiac monitoring
Cardiac CT interpretation preferred
Low reported overnight and weekend callback frequency
Weekend hospital rounding expected
Epic EMR
BC/BE Cardiology
Pennsylvania license or active IMLC LOQ
DEA required
Temporary privileges available for qualifying candidates
All approved orientation hours billable
