Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients on a telemetry unit, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications and apply skills in emergency or critical situations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the state of Georgia or a compact state license
- Minimum 18 months of cardiac telemetry experience
- ACLS certification required prior to start
- BLS certification required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care or hospital-based telemetry setting
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
