Position Overview
HPA Healthcare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurology physician with neuromuscular and EMG experience for a locum tenens assignment at Kaiser Permanente Southwood Comprehensive Medical Center in Jonesboro, Georgia.
This outpatient opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with a focus on general Neurology, neuromuscular disorders and electrodiagnostic testing.
The ideal physician will have strong neuromuscular clinical experience, proficiency in nerve conduction studies and EMG expertise.
Assignment Highlights
Pay Ranking: Competitive compensation for specialized outpatient Neurology locums; details available upon inquiry.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.
Setting: Outpatient Neurology.
Clinical Focus: Neuromuscular Disorders, EMG, NCV and General Neurology.
Patient Volume: Approximately two encounters per hour, subject to confirmation.
Call: In-house call for assigned patients is listed; specific frequency, hours and responsibilities require confirmation.
Inpatient Rounding: Not required.
Hospital Admissions: Not required.
EMR: Epic.
Travel: Airfare, lodging and rental car reimbursement available within client limits.
Credentialing: Approximately 21 days after complete submission.
Georgia License: Active license required.
Local Providers: Preferred.
