PATIENT INFORMATION - Patient Volume/Census: 60-100 cases per day
- Case Mix: General radiology (CT, US, X-ray), inpatient/outpatient mix, STAT cases
FACILITY INFORMATION - Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
- EMR System: Epic
REQUIRED PROCEDURES - General CT (unenhanced head, C-spine/level II trauma)
- Ultrasound (including 1st Trimester)
- X-ray
- Basic CT/US-guided procedures (abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, thyroid FNA)
- Fluoroscopy (preferred but not required)
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Licenses: Active Ohio medical license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand)
- Board: Board Certified, American Board of Radiology
- Certifications: ACLS
- Other Qualifications: NPDB self-query within last 6 months
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform diagnostic interpretation of radiologic studies including CT, ultrasound, and X-ray.
- Perform basic CT/US-guided procedures (abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, thyroid FNA) if qualified.
- Manage workflow of reading cases from old-to-new, including inpatients, outpatients, and STAT cases.
- Achieve productivity target of 7 wRVU/hr.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other staff for procedures and patient care.
