Our client in NY is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 120-day assignment. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule of 8s, 10s, or 12s, with call and weekend requirements as needed. You will be responsible for a variety of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, GI/endoscopy, and emergency/urgent surgical cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide anesthesia for general surgery cases
- Manage anesthesia for orthopedic procedures
- Administer anesthesia for OB/GYN cases
- Support urology surgeries with anesthesia
- Handle GI/endoscopy anesthesia needs
- Address emergency/urgent surgical cases
- Exclude heads and hearts cases
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- EMR: Epic
- Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Setting: Clinic and Call
- Call Schedule: Out of House Call, required as needed, cannot guarantee every weekend will be needed
- Patients Per Day: 4–7 cases/day, case-dependent
- LOA: 120 days
- Staffing Mix: Multiple anesthesiologists, CRNAs, OR/PACU RNs, surgical techs, and multidisciplinary surgical teams
