DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage for urgent cases, including emergency surgeries from the cath lab.
- Perform rounding on post-operative patients in the ICU and step-down units.
- Manage weekend call duties (Friday 12pm – Monday 7am).
- Consult with referring physicians and coordinate patient care.
- Ensure appropriate patient management from ICU to discharge.
