Requirements
- Current RN license and good standing with the Delaware State Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code).
- Current ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an ICU RN within the last year.
- Strong critical thinking skills as well as the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care.
- Must show competency with managing ventilators, chest tubes, and proning patients.
- Strong familiarity assisting during intubation, moderate sedation, central and arterial line placement, and para/thoracentesis.
- Experience with Impella, IABP, and/or CRRT in a combined medical/cardiac ICU is a plus!
