Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years current OR experience required
- Skills: Must have scrub and circulating skills (checklist required), ortho and neuro experience preferred
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) required
- License: New Hampshire RN license required
- Transportation: Must have own vehicle (rural area, no public transit)
- RTO: Requested time off must be submitted upfront (max 5 days, less is preferred); no approvals after offer
- Other: Must work two major holiday periods if holiday coverage is required (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s related weekends)
🏥 Unit Info & Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist with OR setup and procedures
- Verify supplies, instruments, implants pre-op
- Open and dispense sterile items accurately
- Assess patient history, surgical and positioning needs
- Count sponges, sharps, instruments with scrub person
- Accurately document charge capture for OR items used
- Hospital Details: Small 25-bed rural hospital, known for specialty ortho and neuro surgeries, performing 340 inpatient and 1,600 outpatient surgeries annually
