Unit Details:
Position Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel OR RN to provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR setting. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, assisting with surgical procedures, managing instruments and implants, and ensuring accurate charge capture.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up the OR for scheduled procedures

Verify and organize supplies, instruments, equipment, and special implants

Safely open and dispense sterile items

Assess patient history, positioning, and procedural needs

Count sponges, sharps, and instruments with scrub person

Accurate documentation of patient-specific charges in EPIC
-
Scrub and circulating duties as required
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of current OR experience required

Scrub and circulating experience required (skills checklist must be included in profile)

Orthopedic and neurosurgery experience preferred

EPIC EMR experience preferred
-
ACLS and BLS certification required
