Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Operating Room RN for a 90-bed community hospital in Auburn, NY. This OR unit is heavy in orthopedic cases and uses Olympus and Stryker equipment. Ideal candidates have strong orthopedic experience, can work independently, and are comfortable handling a fast-paced surgical schedule.
Responsibilities:

Provide perioperative care for patients undergoing orthopedic and other surgical procedures

Assist in patient preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative recovery

Document patient care in Paragon EMR system

Participate in on-call coverage as required

Ensure patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols
Requirements:

Active NYS RN license
-
Minimum 2 years OR experience required

Orthopedic experience required
-
BLS required
-
Travel experience preferred

NIHSS certification and 6 CEUs on stroke-related topics required prior to start

Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced OR environment
