Registered Nurse - AM Shift
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the guidance of a licensed physician. The RN is expected to be knowledgeable about principles, theories, and current methods and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their family members, significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to ensure individualized patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient care needs and implement appropriate interventions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided and adjust as necessary.
- Collaborate with patients and their families to create individualized care plans.
- Direct nursing support staff in the delivery of patient care according to established standards.
- Adhere to administrative and departmental policies and procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an area of clinical specialty (preferred).
- Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License (required).
- Basic Life Support certification (required).
Schedule
This position offers a 12-hour AM shift schedule.
