Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients in a Level III high-risk facility, with attention to early inductions and continuous monitoring. The Registered Nurse will also float to the High Risk OB unit as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Work with high-risk antepartum patients, including those requiring continuous monitoring.
- Assist with early inductions and other special procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Float to High Risk OB unit and potentially two nearby lower-volume hospitals as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2.5 to 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Active New Jersey nursing license required.
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications preferred.
- Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract signing.
