RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 day shifts from 06:45 - 19:15
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
• Care for 29-bed unit with 1:4-6 patient ratio staffed with RNs and CNA/CCTs
• Treat patients with medical or stable telemetry diagnoses including COPD, sepsis, respiratory illnesses, ETOH withdrawal, diabetes, GI bleed
• All telemetry patients monitored remotely by CCT
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Eve + Days = 1 Holiday)
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families
• Coordinate care with ancillary staff including Rapid Response Team, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, Respiratory Therapists, and Physical/Occupational Therapists
