Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Must have experience in moderate sedation, monitoring, assessment, and foley placement
• Handle both basic to complex IR and Neuroendovascular procedures
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to shift gears quickly and safely during emergencies
• Department is staffed 24/7 serving all adult patients, no pediatrics
• General IR shift times: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Neuro shift times: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Manager open to altering shift times for flexible scheduling options
• Handle approximately 40-50 patients per day on average
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Experience with Siemens and GE equipment preferred
• Weekend rotation call schedule
• Weekday call shifts Monday-Thursday, 1 call shift per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM next day
• Weekend call Friday-Sunday once every 5th or 6th weekend from end of shift Friday until Monday 7:00 AM
• 30-minute response time for call
• Travelers with Neuro experience can take both General IR and Neuro call as needed
• 1-2 week orientation with preceptor and skills check-off
• Scrubs provided
• Free parking in structure with badge access
• No floating required
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU with Magnet Designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center status. The facility operates 933 beds and maintains a 5-room interventional radiology department that provides comprehensive IR services including general procedures and neuroendovascular treatments. The department features advanced technology including Siemens and GE equipment, and offers 24/7 support services including respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage.
