Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves circulating in surgical specialties such as ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Gynecology, and Plastic Surgery. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to practice independently and deliver both routine and complex patient care.
Job Details
- Location: San Antonio, Texas
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Schedule may vary each day based on case start times. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred); 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred; BLS certification required (American Heart Association only); ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only); RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license.
- Additional Information: Circulating OR Nurse must have experience circulating in surgical specialties including ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, GYN, and Plastic Surgery. The role involves managing clinical contingencies, performing assessments, administering medications, and patient education. The position is a full-time contractor replacement for one position.
