📍 Utica, NY | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | 🚑 Emergency Department RN – Day Shift
MVHS Wynn Hospital is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department caring for patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
The ED RN will treat a wide range of emergency conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Candidates should be confident working in a busy emergency environment and experienced with advanced emergency equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun systems.
Schedule is 8:30a–9p, 36 hours weekly. Floating may be required, and charge capability is highly preferred. Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
Requirements:
Active NY RN License
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
TNCC must be active at submission
Minimum 2+ years recent ED experience with some pediatric experience
Prior travel experience required
Experience with EPIC EMR required
Unit Details:
64-bed Emergency Department
40 acute beds, 2 trauma rooms, 10 CDU beds, 6 psych beds, plus triage and super track areas
Navy blue scrubs required
