Position Overview
Join a Cedar Rapids, IA outpatient clinic as a Physical Therapist providing general orthopedic care. Evaluate patients, develop and modify individualized treatment plans, document care, and support safe, functional return to community activities. Participate in student education as assigned and maintain professional licensure and practice according to state regulations and clinic policies. New graduates are optional for this assignment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapy state license in IA or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience or comfort with general outpatient orthopedics.
- Ability to complete timely, accurate documentation including evaluations, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per clinic and payer requirements.
- Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous outpatient clinic experience in orthopedic caseloads.
- Experience with functional, community-focused treatment program design.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: (5x8) five 8-hour days per week.
- Duration: 13 week assignment.
- Start: ASAP.
- May be expected to follow clinic float requirements as needed.
