Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive maternity care, including labor, delivery, and postpartum support.
- Manage patient care for labor and preterm labor with a focus on safety and comfort.
- Circulate in OB-GYN, surgical, and triage environments while supporting high-risk deliveries.
- Administer special therapies such as magnesium sulfate and insulin drips.
- Utilize equipment such as IUPC, PCA pumps, and wound vacs effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery required.
- Active RN license with eligibility for a compact license.
- Must possess BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate certifications; ACLS preferred.
- Epic charting system experience required.
- Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
- Strong ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to varying patient needs.
