Job Description
The Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN) will provide critical care to patients in emergency situations. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team providing exceptional healthcare services to the community.
Responsibilities
- Administer emergency treatments to patients in critical condition.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document all relevant information.
- Collaborate with medical staff on treatment plans and patient care.
- Participate in life-saving procedures, including intubation and conscious sedation.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report to medical team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
- PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required.
- Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills necessary.
Dress Code
- Scrub Color: Navy (with white, navy, or black undershirts and jackets).
- Nail Policy: No acrylic nails, clean, and no chipped nail polish.
- Hair: Must be off shoulders and in natural colors.
- Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible, with exceptions addressed individually.
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
