Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Clarkston, Washington. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care for ICU/PCU patients during night shifts, including patient education, safety interventions, infection control, and accurate documentation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts); minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license; experience in all ICU/PCU areas and willingness to float to Medical-Surgical Unit (MSU) as needed

- Additional Information: Duties include providing patient education using appropriate education modalities; identifying and supporting patient safety through preventative measures (including correct restraint practices and evaluation/documentation); operating and troubleshooting essential equipment in PCU/Telemetry/Med-Surg areas and accessing equipment manuals as needed; implementing infection control and isolation procedures using proper practices and documentation; maintaining standard precautions; ensuring complete, accurate, and concise documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and patient responses; documenting charges accurately and completing physician orders in a timely manner; completing a 24-hour check of orders when within assigned shift duties; providing complete and accurate change-of-shift reports; communicating effectively with other departments; reporting critical lab values to the physician in a timely manner per policy; and maintaining/restocking emergency carts, rooms, and general supplies.
