Job Summary: Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Registered Nurse Billings, MT. Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care while collecting and evaluating health data, documenting care per regulatory and facility guidelines, and providing health teaching and counseling. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights (12 hours per shift), with a minimum of 36.0 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association); ASN (Associate in Nursing/Associate of Science in Nursing) graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse; Bachelors degree of Nursing; Certification as appropriate for unit or service.
- Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift. Performs health teaching and health counseling; provides supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others; executes delegated medical functions; refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment; reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans; uses resources as needed; performs other duties as assigned.
