Job Summary:
Endoscopy Laboratory Technician in Corpus Christi, Texas. This position involves assisting with endoscopic procedures in a busy endoscopy lab environment. It requires maintaining strict patient safety protocols and supporting physicians during procedures, with a focus on team collaboration and adaptability.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- **Required Qualifications:**Texas RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, 0 years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Meditech electronic medical record system experience, HLD/Scope reprocessing experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have endoscopy experience and moderate sedation experience. Typical procedures include Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) tube placement, bronchoscopy, and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS). The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, detail-focused, and possesses strong communication skills with physicians and anesthesia staff.
