Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital setting, performing high-volume nuclear stress tests and a variety of advanced nuclear medicine procedures on adult and geriatric patients.
Details
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
- High scan volume with procedures including nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, V/Q scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies
- GE imaging equipment and SPECT CT G850 scanner used in this department
- 5x8 day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (block schedule)
- Every other weekend on-call required (either Saturday or Sunday, not both consecutive days)
- Weekday on-call coverage required twice per week from 4:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Floating required within the specialty and to other units and sister facilities within clinical scope
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
Requirements
- ARRT (N) or ARRT (R) certification required
- NMTCB certification required
- Current BLS required
- State license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Experience with nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, V/Q scans, and other advanced nuclear medicine procedures
- Ability to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
