Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo in Sioux City, Iowa. This position involves contributing to the interdisciplinary team by applying professional and clinical expertise in performing echocardiography procedures. The role may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses, with a focus on solid echo tech skills and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa license, ARDMS or CCI certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), BLS certification from AHA or ARC, at least 2 years of current Cardiovascular Vascular Sonographer experience, at least 1 completed travel contract, Epic experience, and proficiency in echo procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Professional references or performance evaluations from within the past 24 months.
- Additional Information: Must be capable of performing at least 16 hours of TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography). The candidate should submit 7-8 scans per day and have solid echocardiography skills. The shift will include the possibility of 1-2 nights and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month, depending on staffing needs. Orientation is scheduled to begin on May 26-27 and June 8-9, 2026. The candidate will work with Epic electronic medical records, with holiday pay multipliers in effect.
