Job Summary:
ICU Nurse Intensive Care Unit Night shift The ICU nurse provides specialized, around-the-clock care for critically ill and unstable patients. Responsibilities include managing life-support equipment such as ventilators, administering complex medications, performing comprehensive assessments, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary medical team to deliver high-quality care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, from 09/08/2026 to 12/08/2026.
- Required Qualifications: One or more years of ICU experience (floating not considered), documented EKG experience, Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys), and a completed skills checklist within one year of application for RN specialties.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing Vents, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps; neuro, cardiovascular, and trauma unit experience.
- Float: Float to similar units may be required.
- Additional Information: This position involves adhering to a strict attendance policy effective 6/1/2024, with provisions for review if absences are due to communicable diseases or hospitalization. Candidates must be willing to make up call-ins within the contract timeframe; shift incentives do not apply.
