Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients from birth to 21 years in the PICU setting.
Administer medications, including via Trilogy & Drager ventilators, using Codman ICP monitors and Medfusion syringe pumps.
Handle complex cases such as respiratory distress, chronic childhood diseases, sepsis, and surgical recovery.
Float to all inpatient care areas as needed, excluding ED, OR, and inpatient Psych.
Ensure adherence to unit protocols and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain flexible scheduling with rotating day/night or night-only shifts as required.

Qualifications

BSN education required. Colorado RN license is mandatory.
Minimum of 2+ years of current PICU RN experience, 3+ years if no travel experience.
Proficient with Trilogy & Drager ventilators, ICP monitors, and various medical pumps.
Certifications required: BLS and PALS; ACLS is preferred.
Ability to care for patients with multidisciplinary needs, including respiratory and chronic diseases.
Experience in a teaching facility PICU and with medical equipment is preferred.
