Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent registered nursing experience required
- Emergency Department or acute care experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications required
- Strong adaptability and a true team-player mindset
- Experience working well in high-pressure, fast-moving clinical environments preferred
- Previous medical experience as an RN, medic, or technician is a plus
- Comfort with Meditech is helpful
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled, compassionate care to Emergency Department patients in a high-volume setting
- Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring, and rhythm interpretation
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, efficient patient flow
- Respond confidently to changing patient needs and evolving priorities in a fast-paced ER
- Use emergency equipment such as cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, and Lifepak as needed
- Maintain a professional, positive presence while delivering excellent patient care under pressure
