Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN in Colorado Springs. This position involves providing specialized care for neonates within a designated healthcare facility. The role requires a strong focus on neonatal patient needs, with flexibility to work within pediatric and pediatric intensive care units as needed.
Job Details:
- Position Title: RN -NICU
- Location: Childrens Hospital Colorado Colorado Springs
- Shift: 12-hour days, 07:00 AM 07:30 PM
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Length of Assignment: 13 weeks, starting 10/06/2026 and ending 01/09/2027
- Required Qualifications: BSN, RN licensure, BLS, NRP, PALS certifications; 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience; prior travel nursing experience highly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Comfort with pediatric patients from birth through 18 years of age, Pediatric/PICU experience.
- Schedule Details: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, including Pediatric Medical/Surgical and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
- Additional Information: The nurse must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays; no RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment. Must comply with blackout dates from 11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2.
