Experience: 2+ years of RN Cath Lab experience required
License: Active Michigan RN license
Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS
Call: Approximately 1 night per week
Weekend Call: Typically every 4th–6th weekend
Weekend Call Window: Friday 5:30P through Monday 7:00A
Float: Required to any area the RN is qualified to work

Call Expectations

Candidates must be comfortable with a significant Cath Lab call rotation.

Approximately 1 weekday night of call per week
Weekend call every 4–6 weeks
Weekend call runs Friday 5:30P–Monday 7:00A

Important Attendance Policy

McLaren Northern has a strict 3-strike attendance policy.

A traveler may be immediately terminated after 3 occurrences involving:

Missing a scheduled shift
Arriving more than 20 minutes late

Documented circumstances such as hospitalization or a communicable illness may be reviewed as exceptions.

Additional Traveler Requirements

Travelers must make up any call-in shifts within the contract period
Travelers may be floated to other areas where they are clinically qualified
Travelers are not eligible for facility shift incentives

Recruiter Notes

Hard requirement: Candidate needs at least 2 years of actual Cath Lab RN experience. Biggest items to confirm before submission are comfort with the weekday/weekend call rotation, strict attendance expectations, and willingness to float within competency.
