Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving an adult patient population
- Manage post-surgical patients with diagnoses including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery
- Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
- Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Completed skills checklist matching Medical/Surgical specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for post-surgical and bariatric patient populations
- Familiarity with nasogastric tubes, feeding tubes, and IV pump management
- Demonstrated adaptability in float or multi-unit environments
