Contract | Nights | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Medical ICU setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with occasional 1:1 based on acuity
- Manage complex critical care patients including those with sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory failure/shock, multi-organ failure, and post cardiac arrest with targeted temperature management
- Operate and monitor advanced support devices including CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella
- Care for patients undergoing pre-VAD workups, alcohol withdrawal management, and overdose treatment
- Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
- Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license required — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of ICU/MICU experience required
- EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-acuity critical care populations including ECMO and Impella management
- Familiarity with CRRT and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience in a large, high-volume ICU environment
