Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the CVICU unit. The ideal candidate will have significant ICU experience with a focus on cardiovascular care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position is open to both experienced travelers and first-time travelers who meet the qualifications.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Flexible
Shift Details: 0700-1900 or 1900-0700, every other weekend rotation, no on-call
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
Assignment Length: 36 or 48-hour contracts available
Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

Provide patient care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
Monitor invasive lines and cardiovascular equipment
Administer medications including inotropes, vasopressors, and sedation
Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage ventilators

Qualifications

Required:

3 years of ICU experience with 1 year in CVICU
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with invasive line monitoring and EPIC system

Preferred:

CCRN certification
Experience with ECMO, CVVH, IABP, and VAD
