Assignment Overview
Join a dynamic team in a Level 1 Trauma ER setting, providing care for a wide range of patients from newborns to the elderly with diverse medical needs. This position is perfect for a skilled RN with strong general nursing skills and previous experience in a fast-paced emergency department.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Acute
- Shift: 1P-1A, 3x12 Nights
- Charting System: EPIC
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients with varying acuity levels
- Administer and titrate medications, including vasopressors and cardiac drips
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening rhythms and other critical situations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including trauma teams and ED techs
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL license or application in progress
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
- Ability to produce a negative drug screen
- Proficiency in interpreting and acting on patient rhythms
Preferred:
- 2 years of nursing experience and 1 prior travel assignment
- Experience in a teaching hospital
- SANE RN experience
