Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-acuity operating room environment
- Participate in call, weekend, and holiday coverage as required
- Support neurosurgical and vascular surgical cases with demonstrated clinical competency
- Utilize facility scheduling and workforce management platforms to manage assignments and communication
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes across a range of complex procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level I Trauma center experience required
- High proficiency on OR skills checklist, including neuro and vascular competencies
- Must have personal electronic devices capable of accessing required workforce management applications (e.g., scheduling and communication platforms)
- Proficiency with standard workplace productivity and scheduling software required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume, academic, or teaching hospital setting
- Broad surgical specialty exposure across multiple service lines
- Strong adaptability and ability to acclimate quickly to new facility workflows
