Job Title
Registered Nurse – CCU / ICU
Location
Rhinelander, WI | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Every other weekend and every other holiday expected
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a critical care / CCU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Float to alike units within skillset; floating to additional locations within a 40-mile radius may be pre-scheduled as needed
- Care for an occasional pediatric surgical patient population, including ENT and orthopedic cases
- Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records
- Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including mandatory masking requirements for staff who decline flu and COVID vaccinations during flu season
- Remain available for on-call assignments; call-back minimum is 2 hours
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN License
- AHA or Red Cross BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior critical access or rural hospital experience highly preferred
- Experience with pediatric surgical patients (ENT, orthopedic)
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
