Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
- Float to other units including NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical/surgical as needed, with appropriate assignments provided
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in compliance with facility policies and float expectations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes in a high-acuity pediatric environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio State RN license or Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience (first-time travelers considered with closer to 3 years of experience)
- Recent Level 1 facility experience required
- Willingness and ability to float to various units per facility expectations
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility (no local candidates)
- 2 supervisory references required at time of submission, with at least one reference holding a manager or supervisor title
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in NICU, CV PICU, Emergency Department, or stepdown units
- Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric setting
