PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE - Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: BC in Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
- Licenses: Active AR NP license, AR DEA/CDS, Prescriptive authority
- DEA / CDS: Active Arkansas DEA/CDS required
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required
- Experience: Prior EM experience required; case logs required
- Other Qualifications: 2 years of case logs, CME/CEU documentation, supervising physician assignment, immunization compliance
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
- Perform emergency procedures as needed (e.g., suturing, splinting, etc.).
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary team for patient management.
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR.
- Participate in observation unit protocols and patient discharge planning.
