Registered Nurse – CCU / ICU

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a critical care / CCU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Rotate shifts including every other weekend and every other holiday
- Float to alike units within skillset, including locations within a 40-mile radius, with floating potentially pre-scheduled as needed
- Manage occasional pediatric surgical patients, which may include ENT or orthopedic cases
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for clinical documentation
- Comply with all facility health and safety policies, including mandatory masking requirements for staff who decline flu and COVID vaccination during flu season
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN License
- AHA or Red Cross BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior critical access or rural hospital experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system, though prior experience is not required
