Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting, monitoring and managing critically ill patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and changes in patient condition in the medical record
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate emergency interventions as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (Texas license or compact eligibility required)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma ICU environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills in fast-paced critical care settings
