Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Projected Start: September 22, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using the facility's electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license — temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2+ years of registered nursing experience, with 2+ years of Emergency Room specialty experience
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic health record (EHR) system strongly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
