Our client in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment beginning Apr 5, 2027. This role involves a Monday through Thursday schedule from 9am-5pm, and a Friday shift from 9am-12pm. The Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventative services, chronic disease management, and addressing simple acute care concerns.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide outpatient primary care services
- Conduct preventative care examinations
- Manage chronic care conditions
- Perform sports physicals
- Treat various infections
- Address simple acute care concerns; urgent care level cases are referred to a local hospital
- Manage patient referrals
- Order and interpret laboratory results
- Conduct 30-minute patient appointments
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Family Medicine required
- Practice utilizes RPMS EMR
- This is an outpatient primary care clinic setting
