Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for patients requiring continuous telemetry and cardiac monitoring
- Perform IV insertions and manage PICC lines
- Document patient care and clinical findings accurately using Epic EMR
- Conduct and interpret NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or compact nursing license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of Telemetry nursing experience
- NIHSS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line management
- Experience with Epic EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity telemetry or step-down unit
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
