Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Friday–Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Serve in a Charge RN capacity within the CVOR unit, providing clinical leadership and oversight during assigned shifts
- Deliver direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room in accordance with scope of practice and facility protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation — typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks
- Float within the facility as needed, within scope of practice
- Adhere to all holiday coverage expectations as outlined in the contract agreement
- Complete all required orientation modules and compliance documentation within designated timelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Ability and willingness to work major holidays that fall within the assignment period, per holiday coverage policy
- All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accommodated post-offer or onsite
- Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing; all compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Charge RN role within a CVOR or surgical setting
- Experience as a travel nurse in a cardiovascular or perioperative environment
- Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling, call requirements, and float assignments
