Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room environment at a Level 1 Trauma facility
- Float between multiple regional facilities within the enterprise southern region as needed
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements, including approximately 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA)
- At least 1 professional reference from entire work history
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center
- Comfort with floating across multiple facilities within a regional health system
