Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient status
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for telemetry patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
- Active RN license in Georgia or a compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Cardiac nursing background strongly preferred
- Experience interpreting a wide range of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
