Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit during overnight shifts
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Perform IV insertion and PICC line management as part of routine patient care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or compact nursing license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line care
- Experience with Epic EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity or fast-paced hospital telemetry environment
- Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
