Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 3 × 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for telemetry patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 18 months of cardiac telemetry experience
- ACLS certification required prior to start
- BLS certification required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience interpreting a wide range of cardiac arrhythmias and telemetry strips
- Familiarity with acute care hospital environments and high-acuity patient populations
