Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care on a surgical unit specializing in ENT, head and neck, and bariatric surgery patients
- Care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies, ensuring airway management and post-operative monitoring
- Support and manage patients undergoing general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgical procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient-centered care throughout the surgical continuum
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Demonstrated experience as a surgical RN with proficiency in surgical nursing care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in ENT, head and neck surgery, or bariatric surgery settings
- Experience caring for patients with tracheostomies and/or laryngectomies
- Familiarity with post-operative airway management protocols
